PAC Auxiliary Audio Input for GM Vehicles
This unit allows direct interface of any preamp level audio source to a GM factory radio with a slave unit, eliminating the need for sound degrading solutions like an FM modulator. This interface inputs sources from units such as a DVD, VCP, MP3, Satellite Radio or PlayStation.

The AAI-GM9 allows direct interface of any preamp level audio source to a GM non Class II factory radio with a slave unit.

The AAI-GM12 allows direct interface of any preamp level audio source to a 2003+ GM Class II factory radio with a slave unit. (Works with 2004 Grand Prix)

The AAI-GM24 allows direct interface of preamp level audio sources to 2003+ GM Class II factory radios without a slave unit.

  • OnStar® Ready! When OnStar® is initiated, the auxiliary audio inputs are automatically overridden to allow the OnStar® audio to be heard. Unlike the 'cut and splice with relays' setup, with the AAI-GM9 you will never miss a phone call.
  • Lower cost and higher quality sound than a FM modulator.
  • Comes with a three position switch which allows you to switch between two auxiliary inputs and the factory slave unit.
  • High quality audio isolation IC eliminates engine noise.
  • Internal CMOS electronic switching for long term reliability.
  • Completely plug & play. Requires no external wiring.
  • Small size for easy installation (5” X 2” X 1”)
AAI-GM9 Requirements: The sedan or SUV factory headunit must have a working slave unit which uses the GM 9 pin connector (1995-2002 vehicles). Slave unit examples are: CD changer, cassette player and/or single CD player.

AAI-GM12 Requirements: 2003+ GM vehicles with RDS radios (Class II radios). Must have a factory XM receiver or factory DVD Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) or factory/aftermarket CD changer (factory 6 disc changer built in the radio does not qualify). Vehicles with optional Navigation radio with 6 disc changer in center console also qualify. Please note that the slave unit must continuously be playing or if XM or DVD, must be on for the AAI-GM12 to work.

The AAI-GM24: A standalone auxiliary input for most 2003-2004 GM vehicles. Unlike our AAI-GM12, the AAI-GM24 works with vehicles that do not come with factory XM, factory DVD or factory external CD changer. The AAI-GM24 will have two auxiliary inputs selectable by the headunit's button. Even works in most vehicles with the factory 6 disc in-dash head units. Thee AAI-GM24 aux input is the first in the industry to use the steering wheel or radio buttons to send out commands to PAC's optional SWI-X which can be used to control an MP3 player, DVD, VCP or most devices that use an infrared remote. Application guide coming soon. Note: The AAI-GM24 will not work for S10, SSR, TrailBlazer, Envoy or Bravada vehicles. The AAI-GM24 will only work if the vehicle does not have both XM and external CD Changer.
