With full remote starting and security functions, the top-of-the-line Prestige APS996 does it all. The APS996 features a unique 2-way LCD remote that confirms every function via an illuminated icon display. With over 1/3 of a mile, the APS996 has one of the longest ranges of any vehicle security system. The 2-stage shock sensor''s sensitivity can be adjusted from the remote, which aids in the setup process and helps to reduce false alarms. The system includes a Smart Disarm feature that allows the transmitter to stop the siren without disarming the alarm and leaving the vehicle unprotected. The Prestige APS996 can also go into silent mode to temporarily turn off the arm/disarm chirps. Built-in relays allow for parking light flash and starter disable, while optional relays can be added for horn alert, illuminated entry, keyless entry, and remote trunk release (may require additional parts). A 7-function LED shows the status of the system when armed, as well as the alarm state. This system comes with a 2-way, five-button LCD confirming transmitter and a four-button icon transmitter, which can be programmed to control up to 8 system features.
